Created by Master Ceramist, Mr. Hideki Yamamoto. He was born in Saga Prefecture, and graduated from the Ceramics Industry Course in 1983. In 1995, he established his own kiln in Takeo City, Kyushu Prefecture, Japan. His signature style brings back the beautiful traditional style crafts of old Japanese ceramics. As each piece is glazed and painted differently, the appearance and personality may differ from piece to piece, despite being the same model.
KUROHAKEME GINSAI Sake Cup or Tea Cup is very light in weight despite being made from ceramic. Its exterior has a rustic, dark appearance, and its interior has a shimmering silver appearance. Its bottom is smooth so that it is safe to use on any surface. However it does match nicely to our Round Tray - Circle for a matching coaster.
