Crafted by TAKAZAWA CANDLE in the traditional method, "WA-ROUSOKU." Made from natural, plant-based waxes since 1892 in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Japanese candles use a paper core, wrapped with tree bark fibers, giving the candle a large, bright flame.
KOME-NO-MEGUMI means the blessing of rice. Rice has been the staple food of Japan since antique times. Theses candles are made with rice bran wax, making them not only beautiful, but also eco-friendly! Each candle has a burn duration of up to 30 minutes.

KOMA Candle Stands are designed and produced to fit TAKAZAWA candles. The body is crafted from solid cast-iron, making it durable and stable. It is manufactured in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
TAKAZAWA Candles are carved to have a hole at the bottom of the candle. This hole fits to the pole in the center of this candle holder.
Please note that you do not need to push down a candle until it reaches the bottom of the stand. When a candle stops and does not go down any further, it is the right place.
