Crafted by TAKAZAWA CANDLE in the traditional method, "WA-ROUSOKU." Made from natural, plant-based waxes since 1892 in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Japanese candles use a paper core, wrapped with tree bark fibers, giving the candle a large, bright flame.
The NANAO series is perfect for events or dinners, as it has a burning duration of up to 130 minutes. They are all made from sumac wax, all natural ingredients, making them not only beautiful, but eco-friendly.
NANAO is the name of the city where TAKAZAWA CANDLE is located. It is surrounded by sea and mountains. There are five different candles, each has the motif of a different plant that grows on the Noto Peninsula. The candles are all named after a letter of the word "plant."
